The plug is very easy to locate - it guides itself in.
It takes only a limited push to engage the plug, far less than a standard plug.
Removing the plug is also very easy and can be done with one finger.
The plug is inherently very safe. A strong pull on the cord will disengage it. The socket also switches itself off when the plug is removed, making it impossible to push items into a live contact.
Ezi-Plug was recently a winner at the Med Tech South East competition run by Design Council and MedCity, supported by AXA PPP Healthcare.
